WILDERNESS JOURNEY

A Parable Teaching, In Wilderness Places!

The life of a Prophet, Minister, Evangelist, Teacher, Christian Worker, Prayer Warrior, Singer, and or Musician.
All of God’s children will, at one time or another find themselves called by, God into wilderness places.

Usually but not always this is followed by a time when God has blessed you.
A time when He has used you to reach out to His beloved body, the Church of Jesus Christ!
In these times of being alone, we my feel deserted, and lonely.
Yet we are not alone, the Lord Jesus Christ is there to bring us a new revelation of His Word and the world around us.
Sometimes these can be times, of feeling pangs of deep mortification, a time of looking inward, a time of cleansing, and of beautification.

I am convinced the more we sit at Jesus feet and in His presence the more beautiful we become, and the more we become like Him.

The Holy Spirit will draw us to dwell in, and on the Word of God.
These are times when God speaks to us and He gives us a new manna word for the Body of Christ.
I like to call this the Wilderness classroom, for the Prophets, the Prayer Warrior, Teachers, actually all go to the Wilderness journey at some point in their walk with God.

There is much battle going on in the wilderness school of our spiritual lives.
It is there that the Holy Spirit shows us, how to war and bring down the principalities, and powers of wickedness' that are ruled by prince, and principalities of the air.

When we become tired, and the battle is raging and the enemy is in hot pursuit after us just like he was when chasing Elijah we may find are selves running into the wilderness.

The LORD Appears to Elijah
God spoke to Elijah in a still small voice.

Let us run to His Word, to find strength and renewal a place where we can hear His voice speaking to us.
The life of being a Prophet, or servant of God, is not a rose garden of delights it can be; but many times it is a wilderness experience.
Out of our wilderness times there will come times of being visited by GOD!
In the wilderness we are given new visions, and direction.
I would like to add the wilderness is not a place here on earth, but rather an experience of our spiritual lives.
Yet those who are not spiritually discerned can not understand one thing of what I am speaking about.

My daughter asked me Mom, how do you know when you hear God’s voice?
Sometimes I don’t and God is speaking to me and trying to get my attention!
Yet I have allowed myself to become oblivious to His voice
by being caught up in all that is going on around me.
God wants to speak to us in regards to the things going on around us such as war, terrorism, the horrific sins, committed by man against humanity.

He wants to tell us of His care for us and invite us to pray before His throne!
He also will speak to us through nature and by that I don’t mean the flowers talk to me.
What I mean is I see and hear Him in the changing of time.

God always leads me back to His Word the Bible to justify or eliminate every thought I think.
Also you must have a Born Again Walk with God through Jesus Christ to hear His voice speaking to you.
(Yet but not always) He speaks to whom He will.
You or any one can have this relationship; all you need to do is acknowledge Him as your Lord and Savior.
Confessing your sins in faith believing He will forgive you of those sins.
He will cleanse you and come into your heart and sit upon His throne there.
Does God have a throne in our hearts?
We can be assured He does.
Yet we have to come to the end of ourselves usually before we are willing to make that choice.
Criteria for hearing God’s voice are being a child, and servant of God that is acquainted with His ways.
We need to Love God with all of our hearts, soul, body, spirit, mind, and strength.
Be willing to give up all the things that are robbing us in our relationship with Him.
Be willing to set in, His presence and learn of Him.
I am still learning, still be taught, still failing at times, but not all the time.
I have had many great victories, in my life; as we all have.

Sometimes I think until we close our eyes in death we will be in the classroom, with Great Holy Spirit.
I know this is true!!

It causes us to have healthy spirits to learn daily the ways of God.
In the hustle bustle of life we become so involved in the earthly business, there are so many things wanting to draw us away from our fellowship with our Lord.

I would like to talk here a little about Jesus and His need for fellowship with His Father.
Jesus often found times; when He would need to go aside into the wilderness to pray.
God often called His son aside to talk to Him.
Was it audible?
I think many times it was; when those who were around Him needed to hear it to believe.
I think when He went aside, in the wilderness places God arose in Him in silence within His spiritual being and their thoughts were one.

Jesus for sure knew who He was and what God sent Him to do.
This is my experience also, in how God speaks to me in my times of being alone with God the Holy Spirit arises within me in deep communication that does not need words.
In that time our thoughts are one and I become complete and whole in Him.
I know this is an experience that all of Gods children go through.

Question:
Have I seen God face to face?
No I don’t think so but I have seen Him in the face of a newborn baby.
Those He sends into my life, in the beauty of the rose, in the many lonely faces around me.

(Here is where I would like to share an experience that happened to me yesterday September 23, 2002.)
I decided I needed to go do my, monthly shopping at Wal-Mart, and the grocery store.
When I was leaving the store out of nowhere this crazy man with a cane came right up beside me screaming at the top of his lungs, saying something I could not understand.
It scared me so much I almost jumped right out of my skin.
I took my best victim stance you know the one we all learned about on America’s most wanted?
The stance that says if you are going to kill me you will have to do it right here.
He walked ahead of me and then drew back, looking me dead eye to eye.
Evil devil he was; he never lifted his evil gaze from my face.
He jumped in his dirty red car watching me all the time, as he took off at high speed down the road
I kept looking at him trying to figure out what his next move would be? I stood by my car shaking so much.
I opened the trunk and then decided I better close it quickly.
As I stood by the car door I wondered should I unlock the door?
Just as soon as I felt it was safe to unlock my door.
Looking down the lane came another man with a cane walking straight towards me.
I said "Oh no Lord not again" as he approached me I saw he had a peaceful serene face.
He was dressed in old ragged disheveled clothes that were somewhat dirty, shoes, with the soles worn through.
He stopped directly in front of me but this time I felt peace.
He said to me; his exact words were "Mam could you give me a dime, or a penny"?
I told him no I was sorry; and he answered back God Bless you mam.
Yet still he stood not moving in front of me as if he was waiting for me to speak.
I asked him if he was hungry, he said yes and I am so thirsty.
Everyone who knows me knows I always carry water with me. In the desert we all must carry water at all times.
I had a bottle of water I had frozen and added water to.
Although I never even thought of this water.

I told him I could give him a dollar and I had some change as I scrambled in the bottom of my purse for change I brought out a quarter, a dime, and a penny, along with dollar bill.

He received this and said "God bless you mam you have given me more than I have asked for".
I bent down to open my car door and thought I should buy him lunch at Carl’s JR.
It was only a few seconds when I looked back up he had totally disappeared from sight.
When I got in my car and took a drink from my bottle of water, I began to weep and I said Lord.
"I am sorry I did not give you my water to drink he spoke to me; "He spoke you have given me more than I asked for".

(Did I see the Lord?)
I think I did with all my heart I know so you may draw your own conclusions.
I truly believe God comes to us in unsuspected ways in times when we need Him the most.
When satan comes at us like a roaring lion as the first man did.
The meek and gentle Lamb of God, the mighty LION OH JUDAH follows close behind and consumes him like a mighty fire.

I would like to add the wilderness experience gets us ready for our next assignment.
I heard a preacher on TV saying whoever moves your heart to compassion is your next assignment.

Jesus often went to deserted places to even escape the crowds and pray.

When Jesus came from the deserted place first person He met was the leper.
His heart was moved with compassion and He healed the leper.

God’s beloved servant have you been to the wilderness?
Are you ready for your next assignment?
Well get ready because the next person who you meet that moves your heart to compassion is your new assignment.

When God gave me this writing it came out all jumbled up. I had to ask The Holy Spirit to help me to bring it all together for you to read and be blessed.
How your Lord loves you His beloved servants, how He cares for you.
When you find you’re self lonely.
When you find your self wondering if you are busy at your Father’s business?
Ask God to open your spiritual eyes perhaps you will see,
your-self in the wilderness classroom?
If you look real hard you will find me there sitting in the desk next to you!

(Prophecy)

The Lions Are Roaring

Do you hear them My children the lions that are fiercely roaring in the shadows of you life.
They are hungry as they pace back and forth looking for opportunity to consume you.

Yet Look Here I AM Do You See Me?

What are the names of these lions my darlings?
One is fear; another is the lion of the carnal mind, the lion of the flesh, illness, sin, bondage’s such as loneliness, depression.
I say to you learn to recognize these lions.

Yet I speak tenderly to you fear not, and again I say fear not!
For the lion of Judah is in your midst mighty is HE to the pulling down the strongholds.
Let not your hearts fear I will neither leave nor forsake you.
I have given you a sound mind and a spirit of fearlessness.
In reality those lions have no potential to harm you, they are toothless roaring lions.

Yet you need to know to understand, and know this so that your faith will grow strong in me.
Come to me hold onto your Saviors hand and put your trust in me.
I am a victorious Savior I purchased every right for you to be free of fear.
Come my lambs let me teach the wiles of the enemy I have not left you defenseless to fight on your own.
The weapons I have given you are mighty through God, to the pulling down of strongholds.
The armor I have given you is unpenetrateble.
Put on the full armor of God, shod you feet with your Gospel shoes.
If you will steadfastly cling to me and read MY WORD consume MY WORD, and when you do!
The enemy will flee from before you seven ways.

Come my children and learn of me I will show you great and mighty things you know not.

Yes the lions may roar but,
(MY WORD ROARS LOUDER!)
("IAM THE LION OF JUDAH!")
Overcome him MY beloved’s, with the word of your testimony, and the (BLOOD OF THE LAMB!)
I give to you (MY KINGDOM KEYS,) whatever you bind on earth, is bound in heaven.
Whatsoever you loose on earth, is loosed in heaven.
Be not afraid Iam is here walking beside you ready to fight for you.

Come my children prepare for the battles!
Learn to discern between what is good, and evil.
I will make you as wise as serpents, yet gentle like doves.
I will show you where satan sits, and you will effectually discomfit him.
Just as King David was taught by Me in the desert long ago, to kill his lion and bear.
Then he grew in faith so strong, he was able to believe in Jehovah and he killed the giant.
Together we are fighting spiritual battles you and I my children.
I am teaching you to bring down the giants in the Spiritual Realm.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time,
Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.
Resist him steadfast in the faith, knowing that this same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.

Another Prophecy
(I WILL FIGHT FOR YOU)
My Dearly Beloved Children, have you gone through trials, and feel as though you have lost the battle?
Yes; you have gone through the fiery trials but you have not lost the battle.
For the battle is the Lords My little ones Iam will fight for you!

There have been times in these battles you are going through that you even wondered where I was?
I whispered I am here my child, but you were so troubled, fearful, and doubtful, you could not hear my voice speaking to you my child.
Just as I cried out on the cross My God My God why have you forsaken me?
As my Father had to turn His face from me, because I bore the sins of the world.
So have you cried out my children; my God why have you forsaken me?

Yet I never once turned my face from thee there I was, in the midst of the storm.
But fear, terror, and dread, took hold of you and you could not feel my presence nor hear my voice.
This is my Word true and faithful I have given to you all power, over all power of the enemy!
And as certainly as I took satan's power away when I arose from the grave so can you!
Yes!
My children so can you!!!

There is no weapon formed against you that can prosper.
Certainly I tell you weapons are formed.
Yet!
The word on the weakest of my children’s lips will bring down every weapon, every entrapment, and every false accusation, brought against them.
I am for you and am on your side. I tell you I am more than a conqueror in every area of your life.

Would a good and loving Father, leave His children defenseless?
Think about it!!!
No my little ones I am watching over you to bless, strengthen, and prosper you.
In all the ways that I am leading you.

Fear beloved has no place in you the evil one sends lying delusions and false accusations to confuse, and discomfit you.
Yet; !!!!
Listen hear what I say.
I tell you he in no way has any authority, or power, over you or your life.
He can not kill you I took away the keys of hell, death, and the grave, from him, when I disarmed him and made a public show of him.
When I arose victorious; from death unto life eternal.

Is he roaring like a fierce lion?
I tell you he is no lion, he is not even a small kitten, do not fear nor be intimidated by him.
“Let me say it again he has no power, over you in any area”.
My children I have allowed you to go through these trials to teach you how to go to My Word, and take authority over his dominion.

As sure as the sun will rise in the morning and set in the evening you rule and reign with me.
Far above every principalities, and powers, that rules the air

You are kings, and priests, unto your God you are not paupers.
Raise up My children rebuke, bind, and cast, away all the power of satan.
For I’m comes into your every storm, and trial, and gives you victory!
Get dressed in the whole armor of God, I tell you the weapons of your warfare, are not carnal but mighty in God, to the pulling down of strongholds.
You may say but LORD I can’t I am too weak. I tell you that you must or you will lose the battle and worse yet your faith.
Take the Word of God as a railing to lean on, and rise up in the Mighty Holy name of Jesus!!

Fight that good fight of faith.
You are more than conquerors through and in me.
Think about that my child more than conquerors!
