His Disciples

Reduce Me To Jesus

Reduced to Christ O’ Lord let it be
A whole lot more of Jesus and
and a whole lot less of me
Let your beauty be seen in me
A smile, and laughter,
a tenderness to all I see

God reduce me to Jesus
Oh God let it be
Christ only always
 to be seen in me
Reduced to his love,
and compassion, living in me

Come and surround my life

with your great love
Lead me and guide me
with strength from above

Help me to deny myself
of my own hearts desire
to lean on you Jesus

then I will not tire

Let me a true disciple to be
to reach out with love to all I see

Carry my cross so gracefully
To carry your testimony so carefully
To carry your Word so prayerfully

To never bring
shame
to your Holy name
To always bring you honor
and never blame

To know you
always
as tried and true
To bring you glory in all I do

His Disciples

We are His disciples
at His feet we sit and learn
For fame or for glory
our hearts no longer yearn

O’ the peace to be humble
is our solemn prayer
Just to simply trust in Him,
and cast on Him, our every care

We are His disciples
we learn to walk in His way
The more we sit at His feet t
he more we want to stay

All His children are gathering there
no one else can we see
Only on our Savior Jesus,
our eyes are fixed on Him for eternity

We listen to each golden word and truth
Knowing as we learn,
we are His disciples here on earth

The servant is not greater than
His Master don’t you see
If you are taught by your Master Jesus,
a disciple you must be

Come His beloved servants;
and sit down at His feet
Be taught by your Master Jesus
His lessons are so sweet

Sing to Him your praises
and lift your hearts in prayer
There at your Master feet
no other place can compare

Sitting at the feet of Jesus
none else my heart could afford
Giving Him my life and heart
is my heavenly reward

At His Feet

At his feet I am His guest
At His feet I find my rest

At His feet no more sorrow or pain
At His feet His mercies rain

At His feet such joy and peace
At His feet all fears release
At His feet I long to be
At His feet He beckons to me

He gives me joy and peace within
Forgives this child if I have sinned

He dries away each teardrop in my eyes
Calms all fears, sorrows, and sighs

At His feet my resting place
At His feet His amazing grace

Come His child sit down at His feet
He will adorn you with mercies sweet

When time for us will be no more
We will sit at His feet on heavens golden shore

 In His Very Image

As I stood looking in the mirror,
my heart began to leap
Was this the new woman made perfect in Christ
 whose image I must keep

Sometimes I see a glimpse of Christ
 being perfected in me
Other times the old women who has died in Christ
 is looking back at me

Let me always remember it is no longer I
that lives but Christ in me
There is no room for the old
only Christ’s beauty shining forth in me

Let me quickly remove the burial cloths
of what I used to be
I must quickly adorn myself with salvation’s gown
of Christ being formed in me

For I’m a new creation of his vibrant life you see
Daily my lord is being formed in me

Oh my precious Lord as you have
came to live your life in me
Please cast away all my sins into salvation’s sea

Oh lord!
I long to have more of You
and a whole lot less of me
A total surrender all of my life to thee

There is no room for anger,
and unforgivness to dwell in me
Only the great love of God
looking through my eyes at all I see

You have given me beauty for ashes;
your wondrous joy is dwelling in me
I sing redemption’s songs
as your Holiness is being perfected in me

You have become everything to me,
with your grace you have beautified me
God please continue to tear down the old,
the new construct in me

Come Holy Spirit help me to be all that I must be
For I am still in construction, and in recovery,
the master engineer is still at work building His new life in me

Like a rose in the early spring,
a blossom of beauty unfolds
Your new life is blooming
as my hearts flower unfolds

I am my beloved’s garden,
where he alone dwells in me
There in my garden of delights
my Lord will be found in me

There among the lilies
and the flower of his field
That is where you will find me
as to His Words I yield

I no longer want to be in control of me
I relinquish all my rights to thee

Father Glorified
(John 15:8)
Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.
 Come learn of Me.
(Matthew 11:28-30)Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
(Matthew 16:24)
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
(Colossians 3: 1-17)
Since you have been raised to new life with Christ, set your sights on the realities of heaven, where Christ sits at God's right hand in the place of honor and power. Let heaven fill your thoughts. Do not think only about things down here on earth.
For you died when Christ died, and your real life is hidden with Christ in God. And when Christ, who is your real life, is revealed to the whole world, you will share in all his glory.
So put to death the sinful, earthly things lurking within you. Have nothing to do with sexual sin, impurity, lust, and shameful desires. Don't be greedy for the good things of this life, for that is idolatry. God's terrible anger will come upon those who do such things. You used to do them when your life was still part of this world. But now is the time to get rid of anger, rage, malicious behavior, slander, and dirty language. Don't lie to each other, for you have stripped off your old evil nature and all its wicked deeds. In its place you have clothed yourselves with a brand-new nature that is continually being renewed as you learn more and more about Christ, who created this new nature within you. In this new life, it doesn't matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us.
Since God chose you to be the holy people whom he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tender hearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. You must make allowance for each other's faults and forgive the person who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. And the most important piece of clothing you must wear is love. Love is what binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are all called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the words of Christ, in all their richness, live in your hearts and make you wise. Use his words to teach and counsel each other. Sing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs to God with thankful hearts. And whatever you do or say, let it be as a representative of the Lord Jesus, all the while giving thanks through him to God the Father.
